絵本作家としてバンクーバーの出版社Simply Read Booksより絵本を出版する傍ら、マックを使ったコンピューターアーツを Arts Umbrella にて子供たちに指導し、企業ポスターや出版物等のイラストレーション制作も手がける。バンクーバー在住。

フォトショで描いた絵を使って
アイロンプリントで作品作り。

バッグ、布等はご持参ください。

簡単アニメーション
フォトショで作るショートアニメーション。作った作品はメールにアタッチしたりウェブサイトに載せる事もできます。

ほくろ、しみ、しわの消し方を習ってきれいな写真をブログに載せてみませんか。

We are excited to announce our workshop detailed schedule!

DiGi-ART Kids Workshop @ Nikkei Matsuri
Presented with Nikkei Place Foundation
Saturday, August 31st: 12:00pm – 5:30pm | Sunday, September 1st: 2:00pm – 5:30pm
Nikkei Place (6888 Southoaks Crescent, Burnaby BC)
$5 per class. Each class: 90 minutes

Saturday, August 31st

Time	Age	Workshop
12:00-1:30	6-8	Stop motion workshop with Kao & Kazuho In this fun workshop, we will explore how to make a stop-motion video. Using a computer and a video camera, children and the instructor will work together to take a large number of still photos to make a stop-motion video. This workshop will introduce children to acting and encourage the exploration of physical movement.
2:00-3:30	9-12	Design a cover of your drawing book! with Shumpei In this workshop, child(ren) will design the cover of 32 pages drawing book. Once they finish the draft of their image, those images will be transferred to the computer device(s) for coloring and cleaning up. When all the process above have completed, those digitized images will be printed. Once it printed, child(ren) will sew/bind book together. **Depending on the age of participated child(ren), book binding process will be strictly supervised or will be completed by instructor and/or by volunteer staff.
4:00-5:30	9-12	Claymation workshop with Kao & Kazuho In this fun workshop, we will explore how to make a claymation. 2:00-3:30	6-8	Claymation workshop with Kao & Kazuho In this fun workshop, we will explore how to make a claymation. 4:00-5:30	9-12	Pouch & Totebag workshop with Fan-Ling In this fun workshop, kids will design an original image of their favorite imaginary or real character. Together with the instructor they will cut out the image, and iron transfer the image directly onto cotton pouch. Iron-transfers will be supervised and/or done by the instructor depending on the child’s age and ability. Photo by Kaori Kasai

コンピューターがあって絵も描ける、もしくは写真も撮れるけれど本を作るまでに至らなかった方たちにピンポイントで本の製作方法を教えていきます。
